One of the soldiers realized what was happening and was quickly shot down. But more of them began to realize what was happening.

”Dammit. They already found out. I only had five.”

”I only got three!”

”Stop. Let's go for the regular soldiers. Take out the strong-looking ones.”

The sniping continued, as did the bombardment.

Some of them fought back but they didn't stand a chance against the powerful soldiers of Basayllan who knew how to control mana and use magic.
