People shouted with shock as the giant Gate opened up in the air.
”Whoa…”
”Is this the Gate?”
”Professor. This is amazing.”
”How can one dimension connect to another dimension?”
”I heard the Emperor passed through this Gate twice. Why didn't anyone else know?”
”It seems there are records of others who came through the Gate in the past.”
”Is that true? What happened to them then?”
”They… were used and abandoned. Most didn't survive for too long and didn't leave much trace.”
As they talked, the Gate began to stabilize. It was now safe to pass through.
”It's stabilized!”
Soon, a few dogs ran through the gate.
”Whoa! It's the Khalodian military dogs!”
People shouted as they realized the dogs were those used as military dogs by the Empire's army. Soon came the horns with soldiers returning to the land.
It was the return of the armies after a 10-year-long expedition. Families of soldiers who went over the Gate began to shed tears of joy.
”Message! Message from the Emperor! Move out of the way!”
As soldiers began to march in from the Gate, a messenger with the Emperor's flag ran through. The message was quickly handed over and transferred to Jackson.
”It's a message from the Emperor, sir.”
Jackson quickly read the message on the paper.
