Chapter 6 (2/2)

However, I had a GPS tracker on my phone. Grandma Fu had instructed me to monitor Fu Hansheng because she was afraid that he would indulge in debauchery.

I did not expect it to come in handy at that juncture.

The GPS tracker showed that Fu Hansheng was in the First Hospital. He’s probably there because Su Li had been hospitalized for her discomfort last night. There was no time to lose, so I immediately set off for the hospital.

When I arrived at the hospital, I found the receptionist and told them Su Li’s name. Soon, I found out Su Li’s exact ward number.

When I reached the fifth floor of the hospital wards’ building, I saw a familiar figure at the end of the corridor.

Fu Hansheng was superior in appearance; he looked elegant and attractive from afar.

I walked towards him in my boots, one step at a time. He turned around to face me when he sensed movement.

His gaze was gloomy, colder than winter. “Why are you here?”

I showed that I was used to facing Fu Hansheng’s glacial expression, and said indifferently, “Grandma is sick. She called me in the morning and asked us to go back.”

“I don’t have time.” He was completely unmoved.

“My good husband has time to stay here and guard his mistress, but doesn’t have time to go back and visit his grandmother?”

He frowned and ignored me.

I glanced coldly at the ward on the side. It was Su Li.

“What happened to Miss Su that made you so anxious?” I chuckled and teased as I walked in.

“Since I’m already at the hospital, it should be fine for me to visit her.”

For Grandma’s sake, I had to figure out what Su Li was up to on that day.

However, before I could take two steps, Fu Hansheng’s iron-like claws restrained my elbow.

I wanted to break free, but he ended up exerting more force instead and mocked me in a mystifying manner.

“He Zhizhou is back. Shouldn’t you spend your time on where you ought to?”

“Pain, pain…”

He grabbed me and dragged me directly to the elevator. My feet were a little messy and my tone had turned nasty.

“To begin with, there’s nothing between me and He Zhizhou. Besides, I’ve already dealt with everything that happened before our marriage. What’s with your questioning tone?”

Even if I still thought of He Zhizhou, now that I’ve married Fu Hansheng, I would behave myself because I still have a respectful attitude towards marriage.

I differed from the civilized scumbag Fu Hansheng!

“Go back first and don’t cause any trouble. I’ll bring you to visit Grandma tonight..”
