“Dad, I know that you probably do not see me as a reliable person.” Yan Su looked into her father’s eyes with determination, “I hurt you and mom because of s.h.i.+ Xiang. Other than that, I can’t find anything else that I might dislike—he even promised me he would work on those shortcomings. I don’t think there is such a thing as a perfect match, no matter who you are. You need to take time to learn each other’s pace, just like how you and mom would still get into fights sometimes.”

“I cannot promise that I would be with Liuxi till the end of time, or that he would love me forever, but I am willing to take this chance with him,” Yan Su said.

As parents, Yan Lv and Jiang Peiying were deeply moved by their daughter’s words.
