“Fine, fine. You told me that before. I already know.” Yan Su turned to leave.

He used to say that all the time, even when they were together. It seemed like he would never change.

After walking for about 10 minutes, Yan Su found the menswear shop.

They were on a tourist island where an international film festival was about to take place. Although it wasn’t a luxury brand, one could tell from the shop display that the apparel wasn’t cheap.

Yan Su hesitated.

She had just bought a house, she had a new baby and she only just started working.

Mo Liuxi didn’t even give her a chance to reconsider as he walked into the store. “The clothes look pretty decent here.”

“Good taste, sir.” The shopkeeper walked up and greeted him with a smile. “Our clothes are all hand-sewn by the best tailors in Italy. The b.u.t.tons and embroidery work are all hand-sewn. Many celebrities that are attending the film festival, buy from our store.”

Mo Liuxi looked around and picked up a smart casual outfit in a checkered pattern. The jacket was matched with a checkered s.h.i.+rt inside. “This set looks good.”

“This is from the latest autumn collection that our designer brought out.” The shopkeeper smiled. “Your body looks perfect, so this would look fantastic on you. It will go well with a pair of dark-wash denim jeans.”

“This set then.” Mo Liuxi nodded his head and gestured to Yan Su.

“Sorry… how much is it?” Yan Su asked in trepidation.

The shopkeeper looked at the price tag and said, “The set costs 6,999 euros.”

Yan Su felt faint. It would cost over 50,000 RMB.
