“O-okay, Baby Xi.” Jiang Yuning obediently opened his mouth. He was a little confused at the moment. From yesterday to this morning, Nian Xi had been changing constantly. He didn’t know why, but he actually liked it.

She wanted him to call her Baby Xi. That was so sweet.

“Baby, is it delicious?” Nian Xi asked him smilingly.

“Yes, Baby Xi. Here, try this.” Jiang Yuning hurriedly put a potato pie into her bowl.

Watching the two of them feed each other, He Xin could not bear staying there for one more minute. She stood up and said, “It’s getting quite late. I’m heading to the airport. Yuning, see you next time.”

“All right, travel safely.” Jiang Yuning nodded without even turning his eyes away from Nian Xi.

He Xin almost collapsed. She was leaving, yet he didn’t even look at her.

Uncle Han hurriedly wiped the corners of his mouth and said, “I’ll drive you.”

“Thank you.” He Xin gave Jiang Yuning a long glance, then turned, dragging her two big suitcases toward the door.

Uncle Han stepped up to help her.

After the door closed, Nian Xi finished the milk and said, “I gotta go too.”

“You barely ate anything.” Jiang Yuning didn’t want her to leave. “Eat more.”

“I’m good Yuning. Good boy, I need to work. I still have a case to solve.” Nian Xi quickly stood up.

Jiang Yuning paused with disappointment. “Baby Xi, why did you call me by my name?”

She had called him baby before. It made him blush, but it sounded so intimate.

Nian Xi blinked and asked him, “Don’t you know why I called you baby?”

“Isn’t it because I became your baby last night?” Jiang Yuning said.
