Jiang Yuning t.i.ttered shyly, then reached out, holding her like a little boy.

The two of them held each other, staying quiet for a while. Abruptly, Nian Xi recalled her plan from last night. She almost forgot about it.

She hurriedly got up, banged the headboard against the wall as hard as she could, then pinched her nose and yelled softly, “Ning ning, oh, oh, you’re so good… Ning… I can’t take it anymore… Ahhh…”

Jiang Yuning gawked at her in shock. When he realized what she was doing, he hurriedly pulled her down and whispered to her, “Xi, are you crazy? He Xin is next-door! She’ll hear you!”

Maybe he was overthinking, but Nian Xi sounded like such a wild girl.

“I want her to hear it. Be quiet! We slept together last night. Now you have to listen to your girlfriend,” Nian Xi said warning him.

Jiang Yuning shut his mouth and helplessly watched Nian Xi make all sorts of sounds that made his cheeks burn and heart thump.

At last, he couldn’t bear listening to her and hid in the bathroom.

About 8:00 a.m., the two of them walked out of the room. Nian Xi had her head held high and chest puffed out, while Jiang Yuning followed behind her like a shy, newly married girl.

In the living room, were two large suitcases. He Xin was sitting at the dining table with a pair of dark circles under her eyes, looking pretty sallow. Uncle Han had made breakfast.

As Nian Xi and Jiang Yuning came out of the bedroom, Uncle Han’s eyes glowed. He Xin gripped her chopsticks; the tips of her fingers paled.

“Mr. Jiang, Miss Nian, you two are already up,” said Uncle Han smilingly. “I thought you’d sleep late.”

Detecting the hidden meaning in Uncle Han’s words, Jiang Yuning glared at him.
