“I have something even better. Would you like to try?” Jiang Yuning said smiling.

Nian Xi thought his words sounded a bit weird. Oh no, this could lead to some misunderstandings.

She couldn’t help but glance at his lower body.

Jiang Yuning dropped his head to follow her eyes, then said to her, “I said I have something even better. Why are you looking at my feet?”

Nian Xi pulled a long face. She didn’t expect him to say no to the charming and adorable side of her. “Then… how about you give it to me?”

“No.” Jiang Yuning turned around and gave her an annoyed look. “Not unless I can give it to your nephew myself.”

He has even learned to threaten me. I’m impressed, Nian Xi thought.

“Are you gonna turn me down?”

“I’m not turning you down.” Jiang Yuning bit his lip and said, “I’ll give it to your nephew if I can attend his party myself.”

“You are threatening me,” Nian Xi said through clenched teeth.

“It’s not like I have to go to the party,” Jiang Yuning murmured in a low voice.

He didn’t mean to threaten her. But the thought of Nian Xi having dinner later with Feng Ji Chuan made him uneasy.

“Alright, I’ll take you to the party.” Nian Xi gave up struggling for the sake of her nephew. “But can you give me a watch like that too after the party?”
