Looking at the chopsticks in her hand, she realized she’d forgotten to switch chopsticks when she was feeding Jiang Yuning.

Sharing chopsticks with her made him feel shy. She couldn’t imagine how shy he might be if they kissed or even slept with each other.

“You just reminded me that I should be switching chopsticks.” Nian Xi calmly put down her chopsticks, picked up Jiang Yuning’s and continued feeding him.

Jiang Yuning’s beautiful face was tinged with disappointment. He obediently ate the food she put in his mouth, then said sadly, “It’s not so good anymore.”

After the meal, Nian Xi dumped the trash, then sat by the bedside, peeling fruit for Jiang Yuning. Meanwhile, she said to him, “You surprised me tonight. How many things do you always carry? You even had nanometer wires in your belt. Do you have some things in your shoes too? I remember watching spy movies. They had knives in their shoes.”

“I’ve watched some of those movies too.” Jiang Yuning nodded and continued, “Those spies are good at fighting. I’m not like them. Why would I hide knives in my shoes? But I crafted my shoes myself. They’re special.”

“Yeah? How?” Nian Xi’s curiosity was instantly aroused. Were those shoes some high-tech products too?
