Raising her brows, Nian Xi said, “You’re being sneaky now. Are you gonna ask me to be responsible for you next?”

Jiang Yuning paused briefly, then murmured, “I’m not that kind of person. Two people need to like each other to be together. I want you to like me. If you don’t like me, it would be meaningless to force you to be with me by using what I’ve done for you. You won’t be happy. If you’re not happy, I’m not happy. I want you to be happy. I’m happy if you’re happy.”
