“Yes,” said Jiang Yuning, nodding emphatically.

Nian Xi didn’t answer. But she was deeply moved. No one had ever cared about her so much. Even with his injuries, he was more worried about her than himself. “You can clean my apartment when your injuries are healed. I’ll come to see you at the hospital.”

“I… I’ll be waiting for you.” Jiang Yuning finally got into the ambulance.

Whaat? The medical workers had seen many injured or ill people before and had even witnessed people saying their final goodbyes. But this was the very first time they heard people making cleaning arrangements before getting into the ambulance.
