“Good for you, Xu Luosang,” Nian Junting said angrily as he finished changing the baby’s diaper and plopped the infant in his crib. Then he stomped angrily into the bathroom and changed into his pants.

Luosang decided to let out a loud yelp. He sprinted to her side and asked anxiously, “What’s wrong, the wound hurting again?”

“Yeah,” Luosang nodded her head sulkily, “Help me lie down in bed, sitting up hurts so much.”

Nian Junting carefully laid her down flat on the bed.

Luosang took this opportunity to grab his wrist, “Remember to go to the apartment and get some stuff for me; Yan Su is returning the keys to the place soon.”

“That’s no big deal, the landlord is sitting right in front of you,” Nian Junting said casually.

Luosang was stunned, “You… are the landlord?”

Nian Junting gave her a side glance, “You girls aren’t very observant. Didn’t you notice anything strange when you went to pay the electricity and water bills? You’re my wife. How could I let you rent your own place? I bought the apartment the moment you guys moved in.”

“Why… didn’t you tell me?” Luosang asked.

Nian Junting explained after seeing her puzzled expression, “You didn’t even let me pay your rent, forget about buying a place for you. I decided that the best way to go about it was to find an apartment for you guys and to secretly buy the house.”

“Junting, you’re the best!” Luosang grabbed him and planted a kiss on his hands, “You’ve done so much for me. Why didn’t you tell me about this after we got married? Yan Su has been paying you rent, hasn’t she?”
