They were attacking each other so Luosang decided to change the subject. “Su, I heard that you’ll be performing with Liuxi tonight for the Christmas event at the Xia City television station.”

“Yeah.” Yan Su nodded her head. “I’m singing and I think he will be dancing.”

“Hope it goes good!” Luosang encouraged her. “I’ll be tuning in tonight!”

“Thank you!” Yan Su looked at the clock. “I’ll drop by when you move back to the villa.”

“Sure, remember to come over on New Year’s Eve!” Luosang invited her.

Yan Su was stunned when she recalled what Mo Liuxi had said to her. She was at a loss of what to say so she mumbled, “I’ll drop by if I’m free.”

After Yan Su left, Mo Liuxi excused himself and said that he wanted to go home to rest.

When Yan Su got to the entrance of the hospital, someone called out to her. She turned and Mo Liuxi tossed an apple into her hands. “Christmas Eve gift.”

Yan Su was stunned. She felt as if her dried-up heart was nourished again. “Thank you… I prepared one for you too but you never came home last night.”

“My sister was in labor last night, so I couldn’t leave. I had to send my mother home afterward.” Mo Liuxi looked away. “I’m going to the television station later, so we’ll go separately.”

“Hmm, see you in the afternoon and… Merry Christmas,” Yan Su said softly as she fiddled with the apple in her hands. “Liuxi, you’re going to the set to film the project tomorrow, aren’t you?”

“Yeah, I’m leaving tomorrow afternoon.” Mo Liuxi was annoyed when he was reminded of it, but it wasn’t bad for the two of them to be apart for the time being.

“After we’re done today… I need to talk to you,” Yan Su said seriously.
