“No…” Yan Su turned her face away.

“You better tell me, or I’ll go and ask him,” Mo Liuxi stood up.

Yan Su gave a start. s.h.i.+ Xiang might be suffering severe pain every single day. Asking him about why she felt sick during s.e.x would be like stabbing him in the heart.

“Liuxi, don’t.” Yan Su hurriedly held his waist and said, “He doesn’t know. It has nothing to do with him.”

“Tell me why you were sick then.” Mo Liuxi turned and questioned her.

Yan Su opened her mouth, paused briefly, then mumbled, “Earlier, during an event, I witnessed a girl being raped. I was scared.”

“Why didn’t you tell me about it?” Mo Liuxi observed her expression, then laughed. “Yan Su, you were lying. Every time you told a lie, you didn’t dare to look at me in the eyes.”

Yan Su bit her lip and said, “Sometimes, you thought I was telling a lie when I wasn’t. Liuxi, there’s something not good that I don’t want to tell.”

Mo Liuxi didn’t know how to respond.
