Reading the comments, Yan Su didn’t feel good. She knew that Mo Liuxi would be angry if he saw them. She wanted to call him but was afraid to do so. It looked as if he wasn’t home tonight. The light in his room was off.

Thinking about how angry he was in the morning, Yan Su was a little worried. She hesitated for a while but then finally called him.

The call wasn’t answered. What was he doing? Would he be angry when he saw the Weibo post? That was her only choice.

Feeling troubled, she sat on the couch with her arms around her knees. She waited until twelve, but Mo Liuxi still hadn’t come home. She was getting more and more worried. Mo Liuxi liked to stay at home, so she didn’t know what he was doing out so late.

He didn’t have many friends. Zhang Hongchuan was his only friend in school.

She spent some time trying to find Zhang Hongchuan’s WeChat number from a talking group from her school. Thankfully, Zhang Hongchuan accepted her friend request right away.

She asked for his phone number, then called him.

“Did Liuxi go to school earlier today?”

After a short silence, Zhang Hongchuan replied with, “He’s here drinking with me.”

Yan Su stayed silent.

Zhang Hongchuan sighed. “He drank a lot and he’s in a bad mood. I rarely see him like this. Before he got drunk, he told me that I should keep a close eye on him in case some other women try to steal him from you.”

Yan Su wanted to cry. She couldn’t imagine how Mo Liuxi got himself drunk. “Where are you now? I’ll… I’ll come find you.”

“Don’t. You’re a star. They took a picture of you and s.h.i.+ Xiang at the hotel yesterday. If they took a picture of you and Mo Liuxi together, people would scold you to death.” Zhang Hongchuan hurriedly said, “Just get some rest. I’ll bring him to my place later.”
