“Okay.” Yan Su nodded, then ran to the door and opened it slightly. Chen Chen, s.h.i.+ Xiang’s new a.s.sistant, and another few men were standing outside, with mud on their shoes.

“s.h.i.+ Xiang is fine. You guys don’t need to come in. Just wait outside.” Yan Su forced a smile and said, “Did you go after Jin Youlan? She left ten minutes ago.”

“We sent a few people after her.” Chen Chen frowned. “Is s.h.i.+ Xiang hurt?”

“Yeah, he fought those people and got injured. He doesn’t want to be seen. Just wait outside.” Yan Su closed the door while speaking. However, Chen Chen nimbly burst in and closed the door.

“What are you doing?” Yan Su was angry. Chen Chen had already seen everything in the room.

“Who told you to come in?” The half-dressed s.h.i.+ Xiang yelled at him.

Chen Chen stayed motionless for a short while, then said with a deep voice, “Whatever happened, no one will hear a word about tonight.”

“Miss, Yan, please.” He turned to Yan Su.

“I won’t tell anyone.” Yan Su nodded. Even though the whole thing was started by s.h.i.+ Xiang, she knew that he still had a conscience, or he wouldn’t have protected her.

“I’ll go and get some medicine. Please take care of him,” Chen Chen said and then left.

After he left, s.h.i.+ Xiang went into the bathroom for a shower.

Yan Su was in a daze for a while, then suddenly thought of Mo Liuxi. She was missing for such a long time. Would he try to find her?
