“Tough to say.” Li Ming shook his head. “He didn’t hesitate one bit when he s.h.i.+elded you from the gla.s.s bottle. Thank G.o.d he did. If not, your face would have been ruined.”

She was even more worried about Mo Liuxi then.

When he finally came out of the room, she rushed forward and asked, “Doctor, is he alright?”

The doctor said, “Thankfully, his blood vessels and nerves are unharmed. He lost quite a bit of blood so we will have to transfuse him. He should rest his arm completely while the wound heals, which means he should lay off all ch.o.r.es. You are his girlfriend, aren’t you? You should help his with was.h.i.+ng up and bathing.”

“…” Yan Su was stunned, she was fl.u.s.tered.
