“‘If not’ what?” said a cold and harsh voice over the phone.

Ji Nuanyi choked. “You’re there too?”

“I’m eating over at Tingting’s tonight.” Xiao Si was seething with anger. “I didn’t expect to hear what I just heard.”

“Alright, I’m just joking,” Ji Nuanyi said.

Xiao Si grunted.

Luosang was in no mood to listen to their banter. She quickly asked, “Why did he get into a fight? Liuxi always has a good temper.”

Xiao Si mouthed at Nian Junting, “Is she for real?”

Nian Junting looked at him and shook his head.

Ji Nuanyi continued, “When Yan Su went over to make a toast, one of the investors got a little touchy with her and forced her to drink with him. I went over to sort things out but he wasn’t having any of it. Your brother went ahead and kicked him.”

Luosang slammed the table angrily. “That’s too much! How could he bully my brother and my best friend? Which investor was this? Give me his name. I’m not Xu Luosang if I don’t ruin him.”

Nian Junting was shocked at her proclamation.

“Mr. Jia from Haiguang Films…”

“Alright, I got it, thank you. I’ll go find Liuxi now.” Luosang hung up and turned to Nian Junting. “Did you catch that?”
