Jiaojiao took some time to find her voice. “You… you’re here. Why didn’t you guys answer the door…”

“Oh, we were kissing. We didn’t want to be interrupted,” said Mo Liuxi in a relaxed tone, as if he was talking about the weather.

Jiaojiao was shocked. Who on earth would say that?

She buried her head in her arms. She was only an a.s.sistant who didn’t need that kind of information in her work-life. s.h.i.+ Xiang had left the room with a lipstick mark on his face. Once Yan Su dealt with that, another pretty boy emerged from her room, and this one told her they were kissing.

She looked carefully and found a hint of Yan Su’s lipstick on his lips. He had wiped them, yet some traces could still be seen

Did Yan Su have a group of boyfriends?

“Mr. Mo, when did you…” Jiaojiao managed to calm herself down, then asked, “Aren’t you guys just neighbors?”

“Of course not. Don’t you know that neighbors can easily fall in love with each other?” Mo Liuxi smiled, making himself sound very reasonable.

“Then s.h.i.+ Xiang…” Mo Liuxi’s face became cold even before Jiaojiao could finish her words.

He made a step toward Jiaojiao and said, “Keep an eye on him. Don’t let him get anywhere near her.”
