Chapter 989 (1/2)
Chapter 989: Kiss Her
After being stared at by the silly girl for a short while, Mo Liuxi couldn’t help but bend over, lower his head, and press his lips gently against hers.
She had just eaten an orange. Her lips were still scented by the refres.h.i.+ng orange aroma.
Yan Su s.h.i.+vered. When she realized what was happening, she saw Mo Liuxi’s eyelashes right before her eyes. He had his eyes closed. He looked like a beautiful doll.
She hurriedly moved backward, stood up, and ran toward the car.
Seeing her run away in a flurry, Mo Liuxi wanted to laugh. He had done nothing but kiss her lips, yet she was scared so badly.
What an innocent, silly girl.
Yan Su ran up to the car in a panic, then turned back and found that Mo Liuxi wasn’t chasing after her. She sighed with relief, then blushed when she heard Mo Liuxi laughing.
She was aware that, as someone three years older than him, her reaction was not appropriate.
First of all, how come she’d forgotten to dodge when he kissed her?
Second, she was far too flurried when she’d run away.
She buried her face in her palms, wanting to bury herself.
“Stop running or people might see you. Come here, let’s have some barbecue.” Mo Liuxi waved at her. Kissing her was like kissing honey. Mo Liuxi felt that not only were his lips sweetened, but also his heart.
He was more certain about his feelings toward her than ever before.
He’d only planned to tell her about his feelings today, not to kiss her. However, she’d looked so attractive just now that he couldn’t help it.
Yan Su shook her head and asked, “Do you think I can still barbecue with you?”
She worried that he might eat her alive before she had any barbecue.
“What can I possibly do to you in broad daylight?” Mo Liuxi added some charcoal to the grill and said, “Come on. We’ll focus on the barbecue. I’ll stop talking about those things. I only told you about my true feelings. Why are you so frightened? Unless you’re worried that you might fall for me if you stay…”
Yan Su grit her teeth.
With no other choice, she walked back to him.
