This was his first time looking at her face so closely. Her skin was clean and tender, like jelly, without any freckles or acne. He even wanted to take a bite of that skin.

Mo Liuxi stopped himself from doing anything that he should not be doing. He put his other hand on her face.

Yan Su was a bit startled when his warm hand suddenly touched her cheek.

“What are you doing?” she asked as her cheeks reddened.

“You were moving, so I couldn’t wipe the oil off your face,” Mo Liuxi said as he moved closer to her.

His handsome face was only about 5 inches away from hers. Yan Su was so nervous that she didn’t even dare breathe loudly.

“I wasn’t moving,” she said.

“You were. You just didn’t realize it.” Mo Liuxi wanted so much to pinch her cheeks, but he couldn’t.

Yan Su doubted what he said. Due to their current positions, her brain wasn’t working well. Occasionally, the towel brushed across her nose, allowing her to smell the scent that belonged to him.

It was his towel. Normally, people didn’t share towels with others. Even some couples wouldn’t share towels.

The spicy oil burned her cheeks. As Mo Liuxi’s towel left her eyes, she tried to open them. She moved backward and said, “I’m OK.”

“Be careful,” Mo Liuxi said. “You’re just having some crawfish. I can’t believe you let that happen. You dumb little girl.”

He lowered his voice when saying the last few words. Listening carefully, one might sense an affectionate tone from them.

Yan Su didn’t sense it. On the contrary, she felt humiliated.

“What did you say?” she asked. “I’m three years older than you. Can you please show me some respect?”

“I don’t think so.” Mo Liuxi dropped the towel and turned up the corners of his mouth.

She was older than him, but she needed his caring.

Yan Su clenched her teeth and asked, “Would I squeeze crawfish juice into my eyes if you didn’t scare me just now?”
