Chapter 977 - Why Are You so Nice to Me? (2/2)

Mo Liuxi was speechless. She seemed to have some deep misunderstandings about him. He understood that, though. He had never thought about building a relations.h.i.+p with her before. Now, he had decided to make her his girlfriend. That would be something different.

He couldn’t say that out loud. He needed to do it step by step, or she might get frightened.

“Alright, I’m not gonna take your money,” Mo Liuxi blandly said. “I can afford to buy you a cup of milk tea. Do you want some after-dinner snacks? I got plenty.”

Yan Su did want some spicy crawfish. She had dinner with Lu Kang earlier, but that dinner wasn’t satisfying since she had so much on her mind.

“Why are you suddenly so nice to me?” she asked.

She felt a little strange about Mo Liuxi’s behaviors, which made her worry.

Mo Liuxi stayed silent briefly before saying, “For some reason, I recently feel that having after-dinner snacks alone is boring. I prefer eating with someone else. That’s more interesting.”

Yan Su nodded. She understood how he felt. She felt the same.

“But, why? Don’t you always eat alone?” she asked.

Mo Liuxi was annoyed by her questions. “I guess I’m just old enough to feel lonely sometimes,” he said.

“Eh… I think you’re only 20, right?” The corners of Yan Su’s mouth slightly twitched. She was 23. If 20 could be called old, what was she?

“Yeah, I recently turned 20. Don’t you think that’s a big step in my life?” Mo Liuxi walked to his flat and said, “Come on.”

“Let me drop my bag off first,” Yan Su said.

Three minutes later, Yan Su went to Mo Liuxi’s place. He had already put the food on the table. When she got there, he was sitting on the carpet with his legs crossed. The room was full of the scent of the delicious crawfish.

“This carpet is clean. Come and sit here,” Mo Liuxi said as he waved her over.

He took a cup of milk tea out of the plastic bag, put a straw into the cup, and placed the cup in front of her.

“Thank you.” Yan Su took off her shoes and moved to the carpet. Holding the milk tea, she felt a little uneasy.

“Why are you so nice to me tonight?” she asked.
