Yan Su looked over at Lu Kang sympathetically. She thought, How could he leave just a bit for me when he knew that it wasn’t nice to do so?

“Well… Liuxi, aren’t you going back to bed?” Lu Kang asked.

He was hoping Mo Liuxi would make way for him and Yan Su to hang out. After all, it wasn’t easy for him to find time to date.

Mo Liuxi frowned. He thought about how he would be leaving the pair alone in the middle of the night if he left. Lu Kang was so desperate and thirsty, so how could he leave? Especially since Yan Su was dressed s.e.xily, he might lose control and force himself on her.

Although he had no feelings for her, he thought he should look out for her as a good neighbor. Since she was his sister’s friend as well, he would need to take responsibility if anything happened to her. Men should be righteous like that.

Instead of leaving, Mo Liuxi found a topic to talk about. He asked, “How’s Xu Luosang? Why hasn’t she been to cla.s.s recently?”

“She’s heavily pregnant,” Yan Su said. “Mr. Nian won’t let her out of the house unless it is an important cla.s.s.”

“How about Nian Junting?” Mo Liuxi asked. “Is he treating her well? He hasn’t found a woman outside just because he is married now, has he?”

Lu Kang was about to have a breakdown. He thought, What kind of conversation is this?

Before they knew it, they carried on the awkward conversation until around 11 p.m. Yan Su was getting tired.

She was yawned and said, “It’s getting late. You two should head back soon. You guys can add each other on WeChat if you really want to continue talking.”

Mo Liuxi thought, Does he really want to be friends with me?”

He wasn’t interested in talking to that little brat, but he nodded his head since he didn’t want to impose on Yan Su.
