Chapter 913: The Eve of the Wedding

Although Mo Jin had been living closer to Luosang for a while now, she rarely spent the night because Nian Junting was always close by.

Mo Jin renovated Luosang’s room very nicely and even bought her new clothes. As a mother, she was trying her best to make it up to Luosang.

Luosang and Xu Zhengxuan arrived together. “Jin, I’ll just sleep in the guest room downstairs.”

Mo Jin rolled her eyes at him. “Did anyone say you could sleep here?”

Xu Zhengxuan pretended to be put on the spot. “Our daughter is getting married tomorrow, and I can’t possibly stay in Junting’s house. When the time comes for him to fetch the bride, it will be more convenient if both of her parents are here. Liuxi, what do you think?”

“I don’t know, it’s up to you.” Mo Liuxi didn’t even look up from his phone.

Xu Zhengxuan: “…”

“Mum, let’s just have Dad sleep in the guest room.” Luosang persuaded. “There isn’t a hotel around here either, so it’s too inconvenient for Dad to stay elsewhere. He might not be able to make it back here on time tomorrow.”

“Yes, that’s right.” Xu Zhengxuan hurriedly nodded his head. Before Mo Jin could say anything, he quickly rolled up his sleeves. “I’ll make dinner for all of you today. Your mum is a successful career woman now. She earns more than me and is younger than me, so I can’t win against her in anything. I can only mooch off your mum by being hardworking.”

Luosang snorted. After spending some time with Nian Junting, her Dad had become more and more shameless.

Luosang stole a glance at Mo Jin and saw a glint of amus.e.m.e.nt from her eyes before she suppressed it. Her heart warmed slightly. It looked like there were still high hopes for her parents to reconcile.

Xu Zhengxuan had always been good at cooking. Now, he was getting better every day.
