Nian Xi looked up while she was taking down a statement and pointed at a chair. “Sit down here first, let me finish this up.”

As Nian Junting walked in, the man Nian Xi had been talking to suddenly turned to look at him. Nian Junting’s face fell when he saw him.

It was the same face that he had seen at the hospital not long ago.

“Madam, is this your Brother?” Mo Liuxi asked lazily.

“Yeah.” Nian Xi looked over at her quiet brother and continued taking down the statement. “Bro, this is the hero that saved my sister-in-law, you should come over and thank him.”

“He should be praised for being a public hero, but it’s another matter if he has ulterior motives.” Nian Junting plopped himself into the chair and commanded Nian Xi, “Alright, you can ask him to leave now after taking his statement. You don’t need too many details; you can check the CCTV in the mall.”

Nian Xi chuckled, “Can’t, Jiang Qifei’s arms are broken, apparently this guy… did it. I need to ask more questions.”

“Do I still need to compensate her after saving someone’s life?”

Mo Liuxi hugged his chest, “That woman was crazy, when I was trying to grab a hold on her, she was struggling frantically and she broke her own arms in the process, simple as that.”

“Why were you there then?” Nian Junting asked coldly. “Your actions are making me think that you are a crazy stalker in love with my woman. Do you know Luosang from long ago? Was that why you were at the mall? Because you had a crush on her?”

Mo Liuxi grunted lightly, “I do quite like her, so what?”

Nian Junting was enraged. “B*stard, let me warn you, stay away from Luosang from now on. She is my woman and she is carrying my child, keep your feelings to yourself, do you hear me?”

“It’s ok, I can take care of your child too. I won’t mistreat her; I have plenty of money.” Mo Liuxi smiled brightly at him.

Nian Junting glared at him as his lips quivered in anger. “Scram.”
