He couldn’t believe what Yi Jingxi had just said. When he’d arrived, he had seen Luosang resisting him. But still, he felt disgusting.

As Luosang and Nian Junting held each other’s hands and returned to the hotel, Zeng Zhun let go of Yi Jingxi. He didn’t know what exactly had happened, but he could guess some of it based on what Yi Jingxi had just said. “Mr. Yi, can you please stop offending Nian Junting? The shareholder meeting will start tomorrow. Our people are all busy figuring out what to do and say tomorrow, yet you’re still making things worse…”

“Zeng Zhun, why didn’t you try to stop Nian Junting just now? Why did you run over and grab me?” Yi Jingxi abruptly turned back, glared at him with a grim look and said, “Because of you, he kicked me in the chest.”

Zeng Zhun froze briefly. He replied, “Mr. Yi, you started this. Do you expect me to hold Nian Junting and let you hit him? We are supposed to make peace about this. If you’d hurt Nian Junting, the consequences would be unimaginable.”

“So you let him kick me? Who are you working for?” Yi Jingxi had so much anger acc.u.mulated in his heart without an outlet. Now, that anger came out.

Zeng Zhun was stunned a little. “I did it for Yi Group.”

“You didn’t do it for Yi Group. You did it because you fear offending Nian Junting, right?” Yi Jingxi wrathfully pushed him away and left, taking big steps.

Looking at his back, Zeng Zhun felt extremely uncomfortable.

He did everything for Yi Jingxi’s own good, yet the latter had offended Luosang again. Maybe he felt that Nian Junting didn’t hate him enough.
