“We’ve known each other for a long time,” said Jiang Qifei with a gentle voice. “Don’t I know how important those things in your office can be? I’m not so silly. Reading a file in your office may bring trouble to myself.”

“I’m glad that you know,” Nian Qingyun said. “I gotta go.”

“Qingyun,” Jiang Qifei suddenly called his name.

“Eh?”

“Nothing, bye. Take care. You’re not young anymore after all,” she said.

He sat on the chair and spent a short while thinking. Just in case, he summoned his new secretary, Xie, and asked him, “Last time, I asked Xue to look into Xu Zhengxuan’s case. You go and follow it up. Also, find out what Jiang Qifei has been up to recently.”

“Yes, sir.” Xie nodded.
