Chapter 614 - You’re OK with That? She Is His Ex-Girlfriend, After All. (2/2)

“…” Luosang rolled her eyes. Who would believe her? “He has been quite busy lately, as well. Leng Shuangwei is still in the hospital. He visits her every other day.”

“You’re ok with that? She is his ex-girlfriend, after all,” Yan Su asked curiously. “You should watch out. Don’t let her take advantage of the situation.”

“I can’t help it. She saved his grandma, after all. He can’t leave her at the hospital without showing any care or concern. He visits her along with Xiao Si though, and he updates me all the time.” Luosang shrugged. “She’s going to be discharged in a week or so, then he won’t be visiting her anymore.”

“I’m just saying you should still watch out,” Yan Su reminded her.

A week later, Leng Shuangwei was finally about to be discharged. She was admitted to a military hospital. Nian Junting went along with Xiao Si. On their way there, Xiao Si complained, “Why do you have to drag me along every time you go? You make me do so many other things, too. I don’t have time for this.”

“If you go with me, Leng Shuangwei’s mom will not read too much into my visits. Luo will be more at ease, too. Even though she says she doesn’t mind, she’s extremely petty,” Nian Junting explained. “You wouldn’t understand. Your EQ is too low. You’ll find out when you get into a relations.h.i.+p.”

Xiao Si was shocked. “Ay, I see marked improvement. You’ve become more sensitive.”

When they arrived at the hospital, only Jiang Qifei was in the ward. “Where is Shuangwei, Aunty?” Xiao Si asked.

“She went for an ultrasound scan. She will be discharged if the findings are clear.” Jiang Qifei looked at Nian Junting. “Junting, there are some things that I never told you. I’m really sorry about what happened with your dad in the past. I did you both wrong, but Shuangwei is innocent. With her state now, are you not planning on taking any responsibility? Are you planning to patronize us by just visiting every day? She did trade her right to be a mother for your grandma’s life.”
