Chapter 569 - You Are Pretty and Your Voice is Pleasant (2/2)

“Nian Xi is so pretty. Of course he’s pursuing her,” said Nian Junting affirmatively.

“I’m gonna sleep.” Luosang decided not to argue with him. Instead, she pulled up the blanket to cover herself.

Nian Junting quickly got into bed, held her, and said, “I’m serious. He’s ugly, but more importantly, he has this awful presence.”

“Mm, hm.” Luosang nodded. She was so sleepy.

The next day, they freshened up and went downstairs together. Nian Xi was already sitting behind the dinner table listlessly, her head resting on her palms. She had a pair of dark circles under her eyes.

“Isn’t your guest up yet?” Luosang asked.

“He’s here.” Nian Xi continued, pointing behind Luosang with her chin, “He’s up. He’s freshening up in the bathroom.”

Luosang turned back to see a tall, slim man. His face was as delicate as a piece of china, and his eyes were as clear as a pool of water. She was a little stunned. Ugly? Awful presence? Nian Junting’s words are indeed not trustworthy, she thought.

“Why are you looking at him? He’s so ugly. There’s nothing to look at.” Nian Junting turned her face back as she had stared at Jiang Yuning for more than three seconds.

“He is extremely handsome, okay?” Luosang couldn’t help but say so.

Nian Junting covered his forehead with a hand. “You think so because you have poor taste. After all, you even fell for Yi Jingxi.”

Luosang turned her head away and saw Jiang Yuning quietly sit beside Nian Xi. His thick and curling eyelashes still had tiny water drops on them. Those water drops even made Luosang’s eyes sparkle. He was so pretty.

Nian Junting got angry. He glared at Nian Xi and said, “When are you gonna take him away?”

“At least let me finish my breakfast.” Nian Xi couldn’t sleep last night, so she felt as if her brain was swelling now.
