Nian Junting noticed that her phone’s screen was black. “Didn’t you actually call?” he asked.

“No, I only wanted to scare her away.” Luosang chuckled. “Your mom would be so annoyed if she knew about this.”

“Luo, you’re so smart.” Nian Junting hurriedly put an arm around her waist and praised her.

Luosang pulled his hand away, gave him a threatening glance, and said, “If I hadn’t come here today, I wouldn’t know that your first girlfriend is pursuing you. Mr. Nian, you’ve been keeping this very secret from me.”

“I was worried that you might be unhappy.” Nian Junting looked sullen. “And that woman is so dense and narcissistic. I just couldn’t talk any sense into her. I honestly don’t understand how such a person can exist in the world.”

Luosang blinked, looked at him, and replied, “She sounds like you.” They were both dense, weirdly narcissistic, and imaginative. People could barely talk sense into them. Luosang seemed to finally understand why Nian Junting and Leng Shuangwei had been together. They were exactly the same kind of people. If they had gotten married and had children, how horrible would their children’s influence be on society?

“Me?” Nian Junting sneered. “Please don’t compare me to her. I’m a reasonable person.”

Indeed, they also both lack self-knowledge, Luosang thought. Luosang sighed slightly and said, “So the perfect woman in your heart turns out to be like that.”
