The next day, Nian Junting returned to his company after driving Luosang to school. When he stepped into his office, he saw a box on his desk. He opened it and found a blue tie with polka dots laying in it. There was a note under the tie—I want to tie you up with me, forever.

He paused for a second, then wore a sweet smile. Was this a surprise from Luosang? She always likes to tie me up. A scarf is apparently not enough, so now she’s given me a tie, he thought. He rarely wore a tie, but for her, he was willing to wear one. He put on the tie, then looked at himself in the screen of his phone. He looked nice. His woman did have great taste.

As he prepared to call Luosang, Lu Kang walked in and asked to talk to him.

“What’s it about?” Nian Junting put down the phone.

“It’s about Yi Group,” Lu Kang smiled. “Last year, the few films and TV series that they invested in didn’t pa.s.s censors.h.i.+p. At the end of last year, they fell into a cash flow dilemma. Yi Jingxi’s now less well-known than before. Currently, many people want to cut ties with them. Their artists have left them one after another, and some of their shareholders have started to sell stocks. He bought all those stocks back, though.”

“He’s still struggling.” Nian Junting sneered.

“Of course. He has such a huge movie and television base, after all.” Lu Kang continued, “However, as far as I know, those shareholders who invested in the movie and television base already want to sell their stocks.”

“Talk to them. We have to get their stocks,” Nian Junting ordered. “Once he loses control of the movie and television base, destroying Yi Group will become easy. Besides, he’s been running the movie and television base pretty well these past few years. It’s gonna be a cash cow in the future.”
