Chapter 414 - Start a Fight While in Bed but Make up Before Falling Asleep (2/2)
Luosang felt helpless. They had started by talking about his childhood sweetheart. How had the topic changed so drastically that it was now her fault? She knew she could not beat him in an argument, so she decided to turn off the television and go to bed.
Not after long, Nian Junting climbed into bed beside her. He was not peaceful, however. He tossed and turned, as if he was having attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
Luosang was frustrated. “Are you sleeping or not? I still have to go to school tomorrow.”
“I can’t sleep. I’m having an argument with my girlfriend, and she’s moving out to stay elsewhere.” Nian Junting turned to face her, his dark eyes sparkling.
Luosang was speechless.
Nian Junting wriggled back under the sheets. Luosang watched as the wriggling ma.s.s moved closer to the foot of the bed. She did not know what he was doing, until she suddenly felt a gust of warm air against the soles of her feet and a wet kiss on the top of her foot.
Realizing what it was, Luosang felt a warmth spreading across her entire body. She started wiggling her body away. “Nian Junting, what are you doing? Get out.”
He ignored her. He continued kissing her feet and slowly moved upwards. It felt like electric shocks, drawing away all of Luosang’s energy. When he finally emerged from the covers, his head of jet-black hair was messy, his face was red as if he was struggling for air, and beads of sweat covered his nose. Yet, his handsome face had an air of charm.
The sight of this made Luosang’s mouth turn dry. She gritted her teeth and said, “We’re in the middle of an argument, ok?”
“I know, so I came from the foot of the bed.” Nian Junting’s long eyelashes fluttered. “Isn’t there an old saying that goes, ‘start a fight while in bed but make up before falling asleep?’”
“…” She realized that she was rarely impressed by anyone, but now she was honestly impressed by him.
“Luoluo, stop being jealous. I’m reluctant to bring up my first relations.h.i.+p because it was a.s.sociated with so many unhappy memories. After all, my family was torn apart, and my parents became strangers.” Nian Junting sighed.
