“I am Chi Shengxu’s mother.” She hung up immediately after that and instructed the chauffeur to change their course of travel. “Let’s go home.”

“Aunty…” Luosang was at a loss of words. Aunty Feng was a bossy woman.

“Don’t read too much into it. Our address is highly confidential, and we have security on the premises. The reporters won’t be able to find you there.” Feng Ge raised her brows at her. “Since I’ve already stepped forward, I will help you ’til the end. After all, it is rare to meet my ex-cla.s.smate’s daughter. I’m old now. I like to reminisce about the past. Don’t worry about Shengxu, either. His father and I have our own connections.”

“Yeah.” Chi Shengxu wiggled his eyebrows at her. “Just stay with us.”

Luosang opened her mouth, but she was at a loss of words. I guess I can learn more about my mother, too, Luosang thought.

Feng Ge’s villa was located in the most high-end estate in Xia City. It was in a discreet location and was surrounded by security personnel. Chi Shengxu was hardly at home while Feng Ge stayed at the villa with his father. Uncle Chi was a gentle and kind man.

After Luosang settled down, Nian Xi called and said angrily, “What’s going on Luosang? Where is my brother? Where on earth did he go when you needed him the most?”

“Your brother is on a business trip with Xiao Si.”

Nian Xi grunted. “What a useless man. He talks big all the time, but he doesn’t show up at crucial moments. My mother and grandpa are out in Finland. What are the two elderlies doing at a place so cold? Nothing is more important than my sister-in-law.”
