She wanted to bite her own tongue off.

How could she possibly know about that? She did nothing but work for him for a while as a carer.

He made it sound like she was his s.e.xual partner.

Knock, knock… Abruptly, the door sounded.

Nian Junting opened the door and saw Yan Su, Tang Ning, Ye Chuen, and Mrs. Ye, whose name was Kang Ying.

Yan Si brought Luosang’s clothes and the breakfast, Ye Chuen was holding a bunch of flowers, and Kang Ying was carrying some fruits and some nutritious food.

Nian Junting instantly frowned. His eyes showed an unfriendly look.

“Mr. Nian, they wanted to visit Luosang, so we came together,” Yan Su said helplessly.

“Junting, we’re here to visit Ms. Luo.” Kang Ying smiled and raised the things carried in her hands.

Nian Junting looked at them with a dark face, remaining silent.

Tang Ning edged into the room ahead of the others, saying, “Sangsang, we’re here to see you. Can you get out of the hospital today?”

“The doctor says that I can leave this afternoon after I’m finished with the transfusion,” Luosang said. She sat up and smiled. Seeing the others, she nodded and continued, “Mrs. Ye.”

“Ms. Luo.” Kang Ying put the fruits and food on the table, then said apologetically, “I should have come to visit you last night, but there were so many guests. After the accident, I was busy seeing them off. The people who built the stage were too careless. You were the emcee of Chuen’s birthday party, so our family should be responsible for this. I’ve bought you some fruits and food, and this, here, is a little gift from our family.”

While speaking, Kang Ying reached her hands toward Luosang’s, trying to put a bank card into her hand. However, Nian Junting didn’t let her.

“Aunty, do you think you can end this with a bank card?” Nian Junting looked at her coldly.

Under his gaze, Kang Ying quivered slightly, then said, “Junting, what else do you expect us to do? Your grandma was asking me about your relations.h.i.+p with Miss. Luo yesterday.”
