Chapter 100 - Tingting, Stop Bothering Me (2/2)

He thought for a moment, then called Xiao Si.

“You haven’t left work, have you? Do you want to go for a drink?” He asked.

“Sorry, I’ve left work long ago. I have a date with a pretty lady today. We’re going for dinner and karaoke later,” Xiao Si chuckled and responded with, “Tingting, you need to stop bothering me. I’m an adult man, and I’m not as desireless as you. I need some nourishment for my life.”

“Who’s been bothering you?” Said Jian Junting with a grumpy look, “It’s just that I feel more comfortable to go out with you than with Zhou Yanfeng and the others. It seems that those people are getting along well with me but in fact, they just want to fawn on me, and that made me uncomfortable.”

“That’s true, but understandable. You’re rich and famous, so everyone wants to get something from you. But sticking with me isn’t a solution for you. People might think that we’re a gay couple. If you’re really bored, why don’t you call Nian Xi? You really don’t care about your little sister enough. If I have an adorable sister like her, I’d treat her like a princess.”

“p.i.s.s off, I’d never want to be a gay couple with you,” Nian Junting directly hung up the phone.

He dropped his eyes and spent a short while thinking, then dialed Nian Xi’s number.

“Are you off duty? Do you wanna have dinner together?”

“Brother, I’m working overtime, doing official business. Now is the crucial time for my potential promotion, don’t get in my way,” said Nian Xi seriously.

Nian Junting didn’t even know how to respond. Didn’t his sister know that fawning on him was a better way to promotion?

“Brother, I know you have lots of free time, but not everyone is like you. You should hurry up and get me a sister-in-law. You’re not young anymore…”

Again, Nian Junting hung up the phone. He paced in the office for a while with anger, then gripped his coat and walked out in large steps. When walking pa.s.s Lu Kang’s table, he saw that the latter was staring at his phone, seeming to lose in thoughts.

“Are you chasing that girl named Yan Su?” Nian Junting paused and asked. Seeing the disappointed look in Lu Kang’s face, he continued, “Failed?”

Startling by his voice, Lu Kang hurriedly stood up and responded with, “I was going to ask her to have dinner with me tonight, but she said that she’s going for Dark Screen’s premiere with her roommates.”
