Chapter 22 - That Girl Looks Like Luosang From Behind (2/2)

Suddenly, Luosang felt that Nian Junting had become much more appealable in her eyes. At least, he was more real than those hypocrites.

“Mr. Nian, I need to go to the bathroom,” Luosang said, abruptly interrupting Nian Junting’s conversation with Xiao Si.

Nian Junting stared at her with displeasure.

“It may… take a while,” Luosang added, showing an embarra.s.sed look.

Nian Junting’s face darkened immediately.

“Go, go,” Xiao Si waved his hand and said, “She’s been with you all day and didn’t even get the convenience to go to the bathroom. Now I’m with you, don’t worry.”

“Thank you, Mr. Xiao,” Luosang thanked Xiao Si, then lowered her head and quickly walked out of the office.

Not long after she left, Yi Jingxi, well-dressed with a pressed suit stepped out of the elevator. He saw a familiar figure disappearing at the end of the corridor.

He narrowed his eyes and thought that was an illusion.

Why did that girl look so much like Xu Luosang? But she had no reason to show up in an upper floor of the building of Sheng Ting Investment.

“Mr. Yi, what’s wrong?” asked Lu Kang. He was showing him the way, when he noticed Yi Jingxi suddenly pause.

“Nothing,” Yi Jingxi shook his head, cleared his mind then walked into the CEO’s office.

Luosang spent five minutes in the bathroom, then saw Lu Kang doing his work in the secretarial pool when she got out. After being informed that Nian Junting’s meeting with Yi Jingxi wasn’t over yet, she asked Lu Kang, “It seems to be inappropriate for me to go in now; can I stay in the reception room for a while?”
