Chapter 40: Inflicted Pain On Pain

“Qin Muchen, let me go.” Gu Shinian cried, feeling deeply grieved, she resisted with both hands.

In the end, Qin Muchen took off his tie and tied her hands to the headboard.

He then tore the rest of her clothes off and entered her roughly without any foreplay.

Gu Shinian tried hard to stifle the turmoil of emotions that she felt.

“From today onward, she is not allowed to leave the manor.” Qin Muchen barked his orders and left the room, looking arrogant and cold.

The butler finally entered the room. She sucked in her breath at the sight on the bed.

She worked to loosen the tie right away, revealing a pair of wrists that were bloodied from her struggles.

“Miss Gu, why did you end up in such fierce quarrel with Young Master Mu?”

Gu Shinian lay on the bed, there was a vacant look in her red eyes. She had clearly cried too much just now.

The butler wiped her tears while she stroked her head. Her heart ached for her. “Young Master Mu is not unreasonable. Why didn’t you say anything but ran off by yourself? It’s no wonder that he went into a rage.”

The light seemed to have gone out in Gu Shinian’s eyes. She pulled the blanket and covered her head. “Please go out, I am tired.”

“I will get the doctor.” She had never seen someone who was so weak.

“I am alright.” Gu Shinian paused briefly before continuing, “Thank you.”
