She had conned her way into so much money within such a short time.

Qin Muchen looked at her sullenly. Click! He pressed the lighter that he always carried with him. When the flame was lit, he threw it.
Swoosh! The silver lighter fell onto the bed of roses. After disappearing for a moment, it engulfed the roses in a sea of flames.
Gu Shinian widened her eyes. Just as she moved a step forward, someone snatched away the bouquet of roses in her hands and threw it into the sea of flames too.
“Ah! What are you doing?”
Gu Shinian hurried to save the roses but Qin Muchen stopped her by wrapping his hands around her waist and securing her in his arms. He then clutched her chin until it hurt. There was obvious rage in his eyes.
She was so shocked that she suddenly lost her voice.
“Gu Shinian.” He was enraged. His fingers exerted strength and her exquisite chin was hurting very badly. “You actually dare to find another man!”
You dared to smile that happily to the other party.
You dared to accept the flowers from him.
Did she really take him, Qin Muchen, for a dead man!?
“Do you think that you can be bold and fearless just because I don’t intend to kill you?” He imprisoned her within his range of control. Both his hands were pressing against the sports car beside her. He bent down and lowered his line of sight to be parallel with hers.
He was seemingly both flirting and threatening.
She could only see the darkness in his eyes. It was bottomless.
“W-what are you talking about? Why don’t I understand you?” Gu Shinian could sense his anger no matter how slow-witted she was. “I didn’t look for another man.”
“Who was that man then?” Qin Muchen was almost interrogating her.
Gu Shinian replied honestly, “A passerby.”
She did not even remember his name.
