Her whereabouts were unknown to him for the whole of those three years.

Child…

Their child…

Her mind was cruelly cast back to the bloody memories…

Gu Shinian paused her train of thought for a moment. She then closed her eyes and replied in a quiet and mechanical manner, “It’s gone.”

Qin Muchen’s expression changed. “What do you mean?”

Gu Shinian took a deep breath. After regaining her composure from overwhelming and complicated emotions, she then had the courage to expose the deepest trauma in her heart in a calm manner.

“I said, the child is gone.”

Just as she finished her words, she could feel a gust of wind by her ears. In the next moment, a deafening sound could be heard from behind her. He had smashed his fist on her pillow, right next to her head and left a mark.

Gu Shinian bit her lips in silence. There was a flash of panic and nervousness in her eyes.

“How did it happen?” Qin Muchen’s expression instantly turned cold. Even the aura he emitted was cold and pervasive vibes. “Speak! What happened to my child?!”

Each word sounded like the most peaceful form of violence.

Each word exposed her deepest scar.

Gnashing her teeth, Gu Shinian told him in clear and crisp voice, “I aborted it.”

In that split second, Qin Muchen broke down emotionally and lost all of his sanity.

There was an obvious flash of rage in his eyes. Suddenly, his long and slender fingers gripped her neck.

“You went for an abortion?”

“You actually dared to!”

Qin Muchen’s pupils constricted violently, seemingly trying to suppress his rage with all his might. He also gradually tightened his hold on Gu Shinian’s neck. One could clearly sense the sinister and chilling anger emanating from his body.

Gu Shinian could only feel her breathing getting weaker and weaker. Just as she was about to die from suffocation, the force that was restraining her neck suddenly relaxed.

Her body fell onto the bed.

However, before she could recover from her senses, the clothes on her body had been ripped off by a strong force.

“Er…”

Her panties were torn off. Qin Muchen pinned her underneath him and she could not move at all. He forcefully pried open both her legs and penetrated her deeply. It was rough and violent.

Gu Shinian instantly turned pale and screamed in pain.
