Chapter 1166: Next Stage? (2/2)

”Kh!” The Angel gritted his teeth, enduring the pain that was transmitted by the mutation of his power. He combined the two forms of energy forcefully, so this was like a backlash. The others also knew that there would be a time they could do something like this without the help of the Angel, so they observed the entire process attentively, making sure they didn't miss anything for various reasons.

The Angel kept fusing the two bit by bit. The pain might not be lower than Alex's body refining, but for their purpose, the Angel needed to withstand this power for a bit more.

After fifteen minutes long, the Angel fell to his knees, but his eyes were filled with determination, looking at the beast with a serious expression. He just finished the process, fusing the two forms of energy inside his body and said, ”My King, I'm ready. Please.”

”Yes.” The Supreme Beast nodded and swallowed him as a whole like how a large snake was able to eat a human. All of the energy remained inside the beast's body as he began refining them bit by bit.

At the same time, the Supreme Beast became sleepy like how other monsters actually underwent their transformation.

”I will be leaving my body to all of you. Take care of it and you shall be rewarded.” The Supreme Beast commanded them with a strict tone. Actually, there was another reason why they obeyed him. The fact that the parasite was inside them, the beast could take their lives as simple as flipping one's hand.

”Yes. We understand, My King.” All of them shouted as they watched how the Supreme Beast slowly fell to the ground, sleeping.

Because of this incident, there were already one Dragon, one Phoenix, two Angels, and two Bats destroyed in the alliance's hand.

If one took another look at it, the progress was good because they only had two Bears, one Dragon, and six Bats. And half of them were Pets.

That was why Alex decided to stop pursuing them, so no one sacrificed themselves.

While the beast tried to break through to the next level, Alex also made his way toward the Black Hole where he could reach the Abandoned Universe because he needed to go to Encore once again, visiting the last door.

He looked at the altar where he was supposed to receive an inheritance, but it soon changed to something he couldn't recognize.

As if feeling Alex's strength as a Rank 1 God, the ground started shaking once.

Rumble.

Rumble.

”What is happening?” Alex activated his Spirit Eyes to see his entire surroundings, finding that the last room seemed to be shining brightly. For something this bright, the amount of energy released to the outside was far tremendous than he thought. In fact, this was the first time he had witnessed concentrated energy this big.

”!!!” He soon realized something in that door as it gradually climbed to the top, leaving all the other doors behind. ”Seriously? There's something moving the door to the top? I don't see any kind of mechanism, though.”

Faint suspicious energy emanated from the door,  and as this mysterious energy spread out, the ground started to shake even more uncontrollably and collapse. The collapsed ground was where the door would break through to reach the surface.

The entire planet suddenly trembled. Alex couldn't comprehend what this was anymore. ”Kh. I seriously don't know what's going on…”

Still, the door kept moving until it finally reached the surface, revealing its appearance. There was silence in the world as Alex couldn't even comment when he saw the appearance of the gate.

Although he didn't find any changes on its surface, he realized that the gate turned out to be just a simple gate. There was nothing behind the gate and it wasn't like a Space Element covered this gate. Yet, Alex could feel a tremendous amount of energy leaking through the gate.

”This gate… Is it connected to something? But I don't see Space Element.” Alex furrowed his eyebrows.

Suddenly, the gate was opened from the inside, showing something that Alex never expected.

”This…” Alex dropped his jaw to the ground as he instinctively entered the gate and the latter gradually closed itself, leaving one clicking sound at the end.
