”You seem to get something big.” She smiled.

”Yes.” Alex didn't deny it, but Silvia didn't continue her question. Instead, she raised her left shoulder, asking Heilo to leap off her shoulder.

”Ru Ru.”

”Thanks. I am back.” Alex smiled. ”Is there a problem?”

”Ru.” Heilo shook her head.

Alex then raised his vision, looking at Silvia, who also confirmed it.

”I stayed in my mansion all the time, so no one suspected you here,” added Silvia while walking to the kitchen. ”Do you want a drink?”

”Nah, it's fine.” Alex waved his hand.

Suddenly, a mouse appeared out of nowhere, shocking Heilo and Silvia.

”Ho?! A new companion?” She asked before noticing what she really was. ”This mouse…Is a Spiritual Mouse, isn't it?”

'According to the name, yes. But Leka is Leka.' The mouse rebuked her cutely. 'Master helped Leka, so Leka is Master's contracted beast.'

Silvia was amazed by Leka's intelligence. She must have gotten the contract not long ago, but her intelligence seemed to be someone who had been living with a human for a long time.

”I don't know anything about you, so I can't really confirm your age. How old are you again?” Silvia asked.

Leka thought for a moment, calculating her age in her mind. 'Leka doesn't know. Probably around three thousand years?'

”I see.” Silvia nodded. ”Nice to meet you, Leka. I am Silvia.”

'Leka meets Silvia.' Leka pointed her hand toward Silvia as if asking for a handshake.

When Silvia touched her small hand, she just tapped it and stepped back.

”Still, to think you have gotten many treasures in just a few months…” Silvia then glanced at Alex, trying to tease him.

”Most of them came from trading with someone.” Alex shrugged. ”I wasn't that lucky.”

”Fine, fine. We will leave it at that.”

Suddenly, they noticed that Heilo was silent this whole time, so they turned around, finding a frozen Heilo. He didn't move or do anything. Instead, his eyes kept staring at Leka.

”…” Alex blinked his eyes a few times as if he thought about something. He had seen Stina and Kyle, so it was easy to find something like this again. Still, he just couldn't believe this type of thing came before his eyes.

Heilo was entranced when he saw Leka. Unknowingly, he fixed his fur, especially on his head, trying to appear spectacular.

He then slowly walked toward her with an attitude that had never been seen before. The shy and embarrassed expressions mixed up as he arrived in front of her.

Leka didn't know about this since she had been used by the three races this whole time. There was no love or sympathy in her heart. Only respect and loyalty appeared in her heart after meeting with Alex, so she didn't understand what Heilo was doing.

She stepped back with a weird expression and greeted him. 'Hello…I am Leka.'

”Ru (I-I am Heilo).” He hurriedly replied, but his introduction was very stiff.

'You are Master's contracted beast too?'

”Ru.” He shook his head.

'Uh, okay. Nice to meet you then.' She repeatedly nodded.

'Ru Ru (Do you want to mate)?'

Even Alex was stupefied when he asked that. He never expected to hear this sentence right off the bat. He just met her today. Although he didn't care about their species, it was still too soon to ask for that, no?

Seeing his expression, Silvia asked curiously. 'What is he talking about?'

'Like you, but more extreme.' Alex answered.

'Me?' She recalled the first thing she talked about with Alex and realized what they were talking about. She facepalmed, wondering if this l.u.s.tful monkey needed to be fixed.

Alex shrugged and watched how this would unfold.

To everyone's surprise, Leka only tilted her head in confusion and asked. 'Mate? What is mate? Leka hasn't gotten used to speaking like this, so I can't understand complicated words.'

'That…That…' Heilo didn't know what to do and was struggling to reply to her question. He made an ”O” with his right hand and pierced it with his finger.

Alex and Silvia facepalmed simultaneously, asking themselves. 'What just did I witness?'

'Leka doesn't understand. Anyway, Master doesn't want to be disturbed by an unknown person, so Leka won't bother you anymore. And it's hard to understand someone who doesn't speak in a normal language like this. Leka also wants to have a human form, so Leka can follow Master. Then, goodbye.' Leka politely declined his unknown reason and leaped toward Alex's shoulder.

Her rejection was like thunder reverberating in one's ears. Heilo just got the shock of his life, knowing how painful it was to get rejected. At the same time, he realized how Alex might feel when he rejected his offer to become his Contracted Beast for the first time before handing him to his wife.

Suddenly, Heilo grabbed Alex's right foot and looked at him with a sad expression, begging him to take him in like Leka.

He was dying to be together with Leka according to his instinct. It was love at first sight. Heilo also wanted his human form, forgetting about the fact that he hated it.

Even so, Alex still shook his head, telling him that everything had been arranged.

Heilo had no choice other than to wait, so he turned around and looked down, walking while crying.

Finding him this sad, Leka sympathized with him and leaped from Alex's shoulder to the floor. She sneaked up to him and tugged his hand a few times until Heilo looked at her.

She talked to him for two minutes before accompanying him for a while.

Alex and Silvia had no words to describe this scene. It was surprising as well as magnificent. Their eyes intertwined.
