The next day, they proceeded with the entire mission as if they never knew anything about the traitor. Of course, due to Andre being absent, one person became his body double and acted like him. Only the five people knew he was a fake.

Alex looked at the carriage that seemed to be pulled by a Rank 10 God Beast. This was far more than what the Cypress Family had.

Aria stared at this in amazement, swearing in her heart to provide a carriage like this for her family in the future.

Meanwhile, Alex had an image change by carrying a sword in his waist. Aria didn't really mind much because she couldn't see this image change, so the impact was rather low on her. While there were no others who were as close as Aria, so they wouldn't realize this small change.

To suit the sword, Song Tao personally made a scabbard. It had a few red and pink gems that could supply the energy to the sword, allowing the Sword Energy to recover faster. Meanwhile, the base color was black with a golden colored edge, making it look a bit fancier.

When Nella saw him, she considered him as a masked hero that protected her in this mission. After all, Alex looked s.e.xy and handsome if she ignored the burn mark, and his gentleness improved his image even further.

She wore a white shirt and short pants for this, so her movement didn't get hindered.

”How are you doing today?” She greeted them with a warm smile.

”We are good, thanks for asking.” Alex nodded.

”Our carriage is in the middle.”

Alex nodded. There were a total of eleven carriages lining up for this expedition as they were supposed to be the ”resources” to appease the ancestors.

And they looked like a giant box filled with food, wines, and jewelry, so no one thought much about it.

With Nella leading them, they arrived in front of the carriage and looked at Alcea, who was waiting for them next to the carriage.

”Everything is ready, and there is no change of plan. I will be leaving my Nella in your hand.” She smiled.

”We will protect her to the best of our abilities.” Alex nodded.

”Your mission is to escort her for about three days, wait for her to finish the inheritance in another five days and escort her back. Are we clear at this point?”

”Yes. Will there be any reinforcement from the enemies?”

”Nope. I won't let them make any move. And the bandit is the only influence outside they can use without destroying the public opinion. If they dare to use their own influence, I will make sure they will be the most hated influence in this world.” She smirked evilly.

”Ahaha…”

”Anyway, I will reward you after everything is over. Will that be fine?”

”Yes.” Alex nodded. There were two reasons she wanted to reward them when they finished. First, the mission carried a huge risk, so if they gave it to them now, the bandits might kill and take their belongings. This way, they unnecessarily strengthened their opponents. The second reason was to see their performances and give them a bonus. This would surely allow them to create a good image for talented people like Alex and Aria.

”I wish you three good luck.” She then looked at Nella. ”Take care.”

”Yes, Mother. Wait for me to bring good news for you and Father. Tell him that the news I will bring will definitely shock him to the point he can't work and just think about it.”

”Fufu, sure.”

After that, Nella entered the carriage and waved her hands, asking Alex and Aria to enter the carriage.

Alex and Aria clasped their hands first, showing their respect to Alcea before coming inside.

The interior didn't look that much different than what Aria had, but he knew the speed was probably the main difference.

”Then, Mother. Off we go.” She waved her hands as Alcea gave the sign to set off and watched how her daughter disappeared from her vision. At the same time, she didn't forget to pay attention to the guards for a moment to check if there was something missing, but luckily, she found nothing and returned to the mansion.

During the first day, Nella asked many things about the Unsurpassed Blade Sect. Unfortunately for her, Alex and Aria didn't have extensive knowledge about the sect itself as they just joined in less than a year.

This made Nella even more impressed. This mission should be important, and these two managed to grab the favor to do this mission. It meant the elders or even the peak master looked at them as a very talented individual.

She also asked about what they had done and their lodgings. Nella became even more surprised when she learned that Alex and Aria stayed under one roof. Of course, they hid the fact that Aria was training under Alex at the moment.

A long day finally passed, and the carriage didn't rest for the night because the beast had no need to rest like a normal horse. They were strong enough to carry them for a whole month without a rest, so the journey took less time.

When the second day arrived, Alex's face turned serious since they entered the Gola Forest. This was supposed to be where the enemies attacked them.

Alex opened the window and looked outside with his Spirit Eyes while Nella searched for the enemies in the opposite direction.
