925 Purgatory Sword (1/2)
”I have decided to teach her my Purgatory Sword. If it's not working within three days, I will just give her knowledge about my Hell Lion,” said the Sword God nonchalantly.
”Three days for an original technique?” Alex narrowed his eyes, wondering if this Sword God was insane. Even he needed a long period of time to master his own previous life's technique, let alone Aria.
”Don't worry. There is a thing called affinity. Her Lightning Element actually suits this technique the most, and if she can just accomplish a little thing, I will give her the technique. The rest will be up to her… Well, it will be different if you help her though.” He smirked as if challenging him.
”We will see. It's not like I need the technique, but training together seems fine.” Alex nodded with a serious expression.
”Do you want me to give you personal advice for your Sword Training?” He tried to tease him this time.
Alex maintained his calm face and shook his head. ”I am good.”
”Tch. You are not fun.”
”You are the one who suddenly gets so chummy after all those things.” Alex let out a long sigh when he recalled the fact that they were not allies. In fact, they often fought against each other with the intention to kill.
”The past is the past. When you die, you will realize many different things.” He brushed the matter off with a laugh.
”…” Alex fell silent and gave a space for their training as he also wanted to start understanding the concept of Pure Sword Qi. He didn't have the intention to try it here though.
Thus, the hellish training from the Sword God began. They might be only in the form of a soul, and the body needed to practice it again after they knew how to do it, but there was one advantage in training this way. They wouldn't be exhausted because the realm was supporting their energy usage and stamina was never a thing for the soul.
Alex kept glancing over, watching the training for a few minutes before training for an hour. It was to keep track of Aria's progress and saw whether there would be something he needed to add to increase her understanding.
Still, the Sword God really lived up to his name. There was nothing he could say because everything he taught was perfect. He truly attained the peak of the sword in the past.
Alex actually started admiring his passion for the sword and how easy he explained all the things concerning his technique to Aria. One would say that the genius acted and thought differently, but there was an ability that many geniuses were lacking. The ability to easily teach others.
This Sword God really made a good teacher in terms of teaching, Alex thought.
Meanwhile, Aria kept moving her body as though her life depended on it. Alex and the Sword God had nothing but admiration of her will.
After the second day passed, Alex finally found a slightly faster way to create Pure Sword Qi and decided to consult it with the Sword God. They then started breaking it even further and made a very long talk.
The latter seemed to be very happy when there was someone who could talk to him about the sword as deep as that.
But to their surprise, when Aria listened to their conversation, she suddenly made a breakthrough. Not cultivation breakthrough, but understanding. She grasped a little bit of the Sword God's Purgatory Sword and decided to train it that way.
And finally, she reached the stage where the Sword God deemed her to be successful in cultivating the Purgatory Sword.
”To think you have reached this stage in just three days… Your comprehension speed might be comparable to me,” he said in amazement.
”I am just lucky enough to listen to what both of you discussed earlier and realized the way to utilize my Sword Qi more effectively.” She shook her head, didn't dare to accept the claim.
”Then, should I say as expected of your eyes for talent?” The Sword God glanced at Alex while grinning.
”Nope. I was lucky that the first person I met was her.”
The Sword God shrugged before giving her two memory crystals. ”These two are my Sword Eye technique and Purgatory Sword technique. Remember every single detail and make sure that the techniques are only for you, not anyone else.”
”Yes.”
”I will transfer the memory in the crystal to your brain. Don't forget anything.” He then placed his hand on the crystal before transferring the knowledge by using his Divine Energy.
Alex did this too when he showed the information from the old man. He transferred the knowledge from the crystal to her brain.
After that, Aria sat in the group and tried to absorb all the things she got while the Sword God walked toward Alex.
”There is one thing I want to warn you about.” He looked at Alex with a grim expression.
Alex's body began to tense as his face turned serious. However, what he heard next surprised him.
”Don't waste your time with my other inheritances. You will only waste your time.”
”Eh?!” Alex stumbled and almost fell when he heard that.
”I mean. There is nothing you can learn from me because you already have your own path.”
”Well, I am curious about your Sword Pavilion though.”
”That place, huh… I have given it to my assistant to manage, but I guess he is still doing a pretty good job.” He nodded. ”I guess you can go there if you want to increase the amount of your Sword Qi. It's not that much, but I guess it can increase the speed by two or three times.”
”That's what I am searching for.” Alex nodded. ”I am going to convert everything first and reach Rank 5 before going there.”
”I see. Are you going to aim for Rank 7 there?”
”How long can I even stay?”
”It's half a year. Reaching Rank 6 is an easy way in that place. I am not giving you the key to enter the place instantly, though. You need to acquire everything by yourself. I wonder if you can't even solve the mystery of my pavilion, can this be considered I am smarter than you?”
”Who cares.” Alex shrugged. ”Smart is relative. If you are judging the talent and brain of a monkey on how to swim, they will believe they are an idiot for the rest of their life.
