287 Alchemist Tes (1/2)

A few minutes later, Alex and the others arrived at their base. It seemed he didn't need to summon Vera and Jeanne on the mission. Not long after, Njomo also arrived. He did not have any reports, so he instantly went back to Alex's shadow.

All of them gathered after Alex summoned Vera and Jeanne along with Greg.

”Anna and I will go back now. How about you guys? Are you going to hunt in this forest or choose another place?” Alex asked.

The spirits were looking at each other and immediately got the same thought.

”We are going to hunt in this place. It had a good amount of powerful monsters.” Leoz pondered for a moment, then he continued. ”We can make the team like before until Vera and Jeanne reach Martial Lord stage. Fabio can hunt with Vera, and Greg will help Jeanne. I am fine alone.”

”Alright. Just be careful.” Alex nodded. ”I almost forgot. If all of you have reached Martial Lords, can you check the previous place where we need to go around it? I don't know why, but that place is bugging me.”

”Yes, we will try.” Leoz nodded.

”Alright. I'm going then.” Alex looked at Anna, ”I'm going to recall you back to the card first. You can restore your Spiritual Energy along the way.”

Anna nodded. Even Leoz, Fabio, and Greg would recover their energy first before hunting in this place.

Alex looked at his spirits once more before leaving.

His target was Hua Town. It was a town in front of Mount Hua Sect.

On his way, he was wondering if he should wear his mask or not. After all, his face was known by Su Hua. Especially if he took the Alchemist test without his mask.

Su Hua might tell other people about him. But if he used his mask to take the Alchemist Test. He couldn't use it again when he took the Array Master test.

If he used his mask again, then people will know he (with a mask) was a rank 4 Array Master as well as rank 4 Alchemist. If they knew about it, he might not be able to use his mask again because people will try to invite him to their influences or even kill him.

He pondered about it while flying. He finally decided to use his mask in Alchemist Guild and took off his mask in Array Master Guild. Since his face might be recognized in Alchemist Guild and no one knew he was a rank 4 Array Master so that the suspicion would be minimal.

He didn't know whether this was a good choice or not, though. He decided to take both Alchemist and Array Master tests in Hua Town because he might not be able to take it in another town.

Array Master aside, if he took Alchemist Test in another town, he didn't know if they could even test a rank 4 Alchemist. So, with that, he chose to take both tests in a day and immediately departed from that town.

It took him around four days to reach Hua Town. Alex landed onto the ground before he reached the town. It was an unwritten rule to enter the town using the town's gate, not flying above it.

The guards checked his identity, but Alex easily passed them after giving his Heavenly Sword Sect Disciple Token. Surprisingly, the town was more crowded than the Southern Kingdom and Heavenly Sword Town.

It might be because Mount Hua Sect had everything from Weapons to pills, Alex thought. He didn't want to be bothered by the people, so he immediately went to the Alchemist Guild as he put his mask on.

When he arrived inside the Alchemist Guild, he was mesmerized with the interior. Many racks of pills were on display, and each shelf had its own personnel to serve the guest.

He also felt the energy inside this Alchemist Guild was richer than any other Alchemist Guilds he had known. It was truly an impressive sight.

But he didn't have the time to mesmerize by this sight as he needed to register as soon as possible.

”I want to take the Alchemist Test.” Alex found the place where he could get his test. There were two young girls with the cultivation of 4-Star Martial Masters as the receptionist.

With the sudden appearance of a masked person, they were startled. As it was rude, they immediately regained their composure and smiled at him.

”Welcome to Hua Town Alchemist Guild. Which rank would you like to test?” The brown-haired receptionist girl asked him.

”Low rank 4 Alchemist,” Alex said.

Both of them were dumbfounded. They knew Alex was a young man from his voice even though they couldn't see his facial expression.

”Very well. For low rank 4 Alchemist, you need to make one high 3rd rank pill and one low 4th rank pill. You need to pay ten thousand Spirit Stones for the test.” The brown-haired girl explained. While the other one also started sizing him up.

He was a bit surprised by the price, though. Back in Limewatch Town where he took his first Alchemist Test. He only needed two hundred Spirit Stones. He indeed came a long way. Alex handed her ten thousand Spirit Stones, which she respectfully accepted.

”Do you have your current badge with you?”

Alex nodded and took out his Golden two stars Alchemist badge. When they saw this badge, they were shocked.

They didn't expect Alex was a high rank 2 Alchemist. The other girl already made a disgusted face. She thought that this person was just trying to act cool.

Fortunately, the brown-haired didn't do the same thing. Although she was surprised by Alex's current badge, she would need to follow the procedure. After all, Alex had paid for the cost.

”Filma, this guy surely just wants to act cool.” The other girl whispered to the brown-haired girl.

”Don't say that. You can't judge a book by its cover.” The brown-haired girl, Filma, said with a smile.

Alex also heard about it and frowned behind his mask while cursing, 'Again?'

”I apologize for my friend's behavior. I hope sir can forgive her.”

Alex sighed and nodded.

'Acting cool and composed. If you fail later, I'm wondering if you can still act like that.' The blue-haired girl cursed in her heart.
