Chapter 448 - Chuxis Anger (1/2)

There was no tragedy of thousand armies and ten thousand horses. There was no heroism of having spears like forests and arrows like rain. Yet the battle situation was still so tragic before their eyes. Even the moon had hid within the dark clouds, as if it could not bear to look on anymore and only revealed an obscure and dim moonlight.

The tragic screams stopped. There were about over ten corpses lying on the ground. Among the ten plus figures that surrounded him, only the Fifth Elder was standing alone and holding his sword. His clothes had already been soaked with fresh blood and his whole body was densely covered with cuts and bruises. Yet he still guarded Second Elder at the front with all his life.

“Looks like I cannot leave this time.” Fifth Elder laughed with a hoa.r.s.e voice.

“I had initially thought of seeing Chuxi that little brat one more time. Looks like I don’t have that opportunity anymore.” Second Elder looked at him and laughed with regret.

“Does it matter if you get to see her or not? As long as Chuxi, that little brat is around, the Ling family will definitely become the Number One Great Clan of Nan Xia Country. Look at these sons of the Ling family. Would they have their vigor today if it was not for Chuxi that little brat being their role model?” Fifth Elder laughed out loud.

“What you said is not wrong. I should be contented as well.” Second Elder smiled with comfort too.

Ling Chuxi had already become the pride of the disciples of the Ling family unknowingly. She was their hope as well as their role model. It was also because of her, that these disciples of the Ling family which had collapsed to the ground had such courage and unyielding spirits today. In fact, did the whole Nan Xia Country not feel this way too?

“Kill!” A cold shout sounded from the crowd. A chilling gleam from a sword struck out once again toward both of them without showing any mercy.

Fifth Elder gave a long howl toward the skies. He was like a mad tiger that rushed into its enemies. Despite his blood and flesh flying everywhere, the sword in his hand was piercing continuously toward his enemies.

When Ling Chuxi and the few of them arrived, they saw this scene happening. In that instant, her heart was in pain as if it was being tugged at violently. An endless fury was burning in her chest.

“Stop!” Ling Chuxi flew out like an arrow which was released from the bowstring.
