When the old man finished speaking, the others replied solemnly, “Yes, my Lord.”

“I will leave this matter to you.” The old man looked at one of them.

“Yes.” That person immediately got up and bowed respectfully.

“If you fail, you know what to do right?” The old man asked indifferently. Even though his tone was light, there was a cold menace that lurked behind it.

The old man turned around and left, and the others quickly got up to send him off.

Ling Chuxi and the rest left the compet.i.tion arena and headed straight to the gambling den. No doubt Ling Chuxi had made a huge fortune out of this trip to Ding Lin Country, and Li Shaoqiu who had almost p.a.w.ned his underwear off had also made a pot of money. He was laughing and crying as he held onto a huge stack of gold notes. He furtively stuffed them up his sleeves as if fearful of being seen.
