Baili Han glanced at Ling Chuxi. He saw the shock in her eyes and knew that she had yet to figure out what was strange about Duan Qingchou’s Battle Qi. He clenched his teeth and swung his sword again to face him.

Once again, the two of them engaged in a fierce battle. As both swords collided, Duan Qingchou’s Battle Qi became tyrannical once again. Not long after that, Baili Han’s sword was knocked out of his grasp and he was kicked in the chest by Duan Qingchou. Baili Han crashed to the ground heavily and spat blood from his mouth.

“Stop!” Ling Chuxi shouted in panic.

It was as if Duan Qingchou did not hear her as he slashed Baili Han’s thigh. It was clear that he wanted to cripple Baili Han completely. If a cultivator’s hands or feet were crippled, it would be worse than actually killing him. Duan Qingchou actually had such a cruel intention!

As the crowd watched his ruthlessness, sounds of exclamation could be heard from the watching platform. The spectators of Nan Xia Country could not bear to continue watching, their hearts caught in their throats.

However, there was a determined light in Baili Han’s eyes. He took a deep breath and used his sword to stand, managing to dodge the attack swiftly. Even though his actions were fast, he was still slower than Duan Qingchou’s brutal move. A long b.l.o.o.d.y wound was drawn across his thigh and blood dripped onto the floor steadily. Soon, a pool of blood had appeared on the floor.

“Baili, just admit defeat!” Ling Chuxi anxiously called out to Baili Han.

Baili Han turned to look at Ling Chuxi and shook his head. Ling Chuxi could see the determination in his gaze.

“We admit defeat, we admit defeat!” Nan Xia Country’s envoy shouted. Baili Han was already in such a state. If they continued the match, it would still be okay if they lost, but Baili Han was a pillar of Nan Xia Country’s future. How could anything be allowed to happen to him here?
