“I’ll go,” said Ling Yichen even as his expression sank. He was about to step forward to get into the fighting ring when Ling Chuxi stopped him.

“Don’t. There’s no need, Yichen. Since he is calling my name, I will go up. There is no need to worry,” said Ling Chuxi.

“But—” began Ling Yichen with a frown. Seeing as the opponent had such strong cultivation and was most likely at Battle Qi Level 8… Was it really nothing to worry about?
