“Aunty, you are too courteous. My name is Lan Xinyu. Aunty, you can just call me Xinyu,” said Lan Xinyu. She spoke as if she was very familiar with Aunt w.a.n.g. Then, she accepted the bowl of rice and started eating.

Ling Chuxi muttered, “Hope you choke to death.” She bit on her chopsticks and the corner of her lips twitched as she watched Lan Xinyu eating so happily.

Ling Chuxi harrumphed before reaching for a meat bun with her chopsticks. Just as she was about to pick it up, another pair of chopsticks also reached for the same meat bun. Raising her head, Ling Chuxi saw Lan Xinyu staring at her without the slighest intention of yielding the meat bun.

“Let go!” said Ling Chuxi, spitting out the words through gritted teeth.

“No!” growled Lan Xinyu, also speaking through gritted teeth.

“I’m going to kill you!” shouted Ling Chuxi angrily.

How dare she s.n.a.t.c.h her food like this? Lan Xinyu was practically throwing away her own life!
