“Miss Ling Chuxi, we are really too grateful to you. If you have any matters you need a.s.sistance with, please feel free to instruct us to do so,” said Zhong Xingkai excitedly with a flushed face.

“That isn’t necessary,” replied Ling Chuxi with a smile. “I’ve already received a gift from all of you.”

“Huh?” said Zhong Xingkai as he scratched his head, puzzled.

Ling Chuxi merely smiled gently and said no more. The pill formula for the Tian Luo Pill was a world-cla.s.s treasure! What did it mean to be able to refine an endless amount of Tian Luo Pills? It meant riches, status and power. It meant having everything at your fingertips! Ling Chuxi would be the party all kinds of forces would do anything to win over.

The semester began at White Stone Academy after the experiential training compet.i.tion ended. Lessons were officially in session at the academy. After school each day, there were usually two topics that caused great discussion amongst the students. One was the terrible defeat of the academy’s peerless genius, Lan Xinyu. The second was that the unruly, impolite fifth princess had transferred over to the academy.

Meanwhile, Ling Yichen’s senior brother, the ninth prince, had secretly rushed over to White Stone City.

On the first day of school, everything went smoothly. The teachers taught with solemnity and the students absorbed their lessons with the same fort.i.tude. Ling Chuxi, Ling Yichen, Xia Zhuoyi and the fifth princess were all placed in the same cla.s.s. The fifth princess nodded off during cla.s.s, but no one dared to wake her. Only Ling Chuxi dared to do so with a pinch without even a change in her expression.

After school, Ling Chuxi suggested they all enjoy a good meal and the rest of the group went along with her suggestion as they didn’t have much of an opinion on the matter. It was just that, they never thought going out for a meal would equate to seeking out trouble as well.
